These are a few of my favorite things: But Fidose of Reality has over a dozen more “favorite things” to add to the list this year. It’s time for our biggest photo contest of the year: The Fourth Annual Fidose of Reality Holiday Dog Photo Contest for over $700 in prizes!
Entering is easy, prizes are plentiful, and all dogs are welcomed: past and present.
Deadline to submit entries is 12/22/14 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Two entries per person. Entries must include a dog and you agree to ownership of the photo. All photos will appear on the blog (and other social media) and by entering, you give Fidose of Reality permission to use the photo on the blog and for other purposes now and in the future. Photos proven not to be that of the entrant will be disqualified. By entering, you agree to ownership of the photo.
When does it start and end? The contest starts now. The contest ends on 12/22/14 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Fidose of Reality staff and their families are not eligible to win in the Holi-Dog Photo Contest.
How many prizes will be awarded? 25!! We will be awarding 25 winners with 25 prizes. And ho ho ho, they are pawtastic! Keep reading!!
Will I receive the prize in time for Christmas Day? No, since the winners are announced 12/22/14, but you can celebrate in January when the prize(s) arrive to kick off a brand new year!
What are we judged on? Fidose of Reality will pick ONE GRAND PRIZE WINNER who best exemplifies the spirit of the holidays that occur between now and the end of the year (examples: Hanukkah, Christmas, New Years, snowy days, etc).
We will also select 24 other winners who will receive a prize based on the same criteria.
Please don’t put Fido in harm’s way or make him or her uncomfortable. Yours truly will recuse herself from the judging panel. No photoshopping allowed – any image alteration entries will be disqualified. You can have a watermark on the photo but anything else will result in a disqualification.
Can my friends and family play? Sure! The more the merrier. We love to see tails wagging here at Fidose of Reality, so spread the word and make your voice heard. No more than two (2) entries per person, please.
What if I win? Winners will be notified and announced on the Fidose of Reality blog in this thread no later than December 23, 2014. Winners must provide name and mailing address so the prizes can be shipped to you by Fidose and our sponsors.Failure to reply within 5 business days of being emailed results in forfeiture of prizes and another winner will be selected.
Where Can I View the Entrants? All entrants will be posted to the Fidose of Reality Facebook Photo Contest for the 2014 Dog Holiday Photo Contest.
Must be 18 years of age or older; U.S. and Canada only, please.
How to Enter: Send no more than two photos to fidoseofreality at gmail dot com with the subject line HOLIDAY CONTEST. Include the images along with your name, dog(s) name, and your city/state/province. Entries without this information will be disqualified.
All entrants will receive an email within 48-72 hours of sending their photo to Fidose of Reality.
