Why should humans have all the fun making Christmas cookies? Holiday cookies for dogs never looked so good (or tasted so yummy) thanks to Zoe, the Domestic Dogdess. On tap today are Zoe’s famous Banana Carob Meringue Cookies.
They are fun and pretty darn easy to make, and best of all, dogs will love them…and you can make them together!!! For those who don’t know, Zoe is the fiancee of our PR (Puppy Relations) Manager, Dexter. The two will celebrate their love on June 28, 2013, at the Wigglebutt Wedding, which is being covered by News12 CT and the lovely Lauren Collier. All proceeds raised to Life’s Little Paws, where the Domestic Dogdess was rescued the DAY she was scheduled to be euthanized.

What you need:
2 large egg whites, beaten to stiff peaks,
1 medium banana, mashed with 1 tsp carob powder.*
* If you can’t find carob powder, substitute 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
Fold mashed banana/carob mixt re gently into egg whites.
Place with a teaspoon onto greased parchment lined cookie sheet.
Cook in preheated 275 oven for 1 hour. Turn off heat and let rest in oven with door slightly open until cooled. Can refrigerate for up to 2 weeks in airtight container.
