Easy Way to Gain Blog Traffic and Help Dogs
How would you like to gain blog or business traffic simply by helping dogs in need? Well, some people know how to rock n’ roll in the name of dog rescue. Sam Ratcliffe, the self-proclaimed and very notorious Queen of Rock n’ Roll, is poised to make a difference in the lives of rescue dogs by stepping back in time: A time to when big hair was all the rage, tight Jordache jeans were hot, and leg warmers came in every color of the rainbow. The time is the 1980’s and the reason is to save dogs in need.
Fidose of Reality is a proud friend and sponsor of 80’s Hairball, a one-night spectacular fundraiser in Las Vegas on April 24th. And you can get involved no matter where you lived. Here’s the scoop:
Vegas Rock Dog
Samantha Ratcliffe knows rock and roll and how to find lost pets, both which have served her well throughout her career. Aptly dubbed the Queen of Rock n’ Roll Dogs, Sam knows a thing or two about finding lost dogs—and more importantly, reuniting them with their frantic dog parents. She also has a weekly radio show, maintains her own pet blog and website, and is forever involved in planning events and making a difference in the loves of pets in need. She’s also really darned creative and knows how to make a person smile.
Getting Involved
As a pet blogger living in Pennsylvania, I so want to be at the 80’s Hairball, but distance makes it an issue. Bloggers and others can still get involved by becoming a sponsor of the event, at a very reasonable price. Wigglebutt Warriors is the fundraising arm of Fidose of Reality, and we are fully in support of this fab 80’s Hairball to help dogs in need.
For a mere $25 bucks, your business or blog can be promoted to attendees of the event. Sam will also give social media shout outs of all $25 level sponsors to over 20,000 social media followers. To top it off, you get to send in 150 of your business cards or anything else to include in the rockin’ swag bags all guests will receive. How cool is that!!!
Benefactors
Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit The Churchill Foundation and Vegas Shepherd Rescue.

What a fun event. Oh how I wish I lived closer.
What a fun idea! Thanks for sharing this info!
To a cat blogger, a hairball is something entirely different.
Bwah hahhah so true
What a fantastic idea! It’s only a 4 hour drive from me, but I have 2 big events on the 25th and 26th. This is a great way to get your name out there, while contributing to a great cause!
What a great fundraiser and how amazing that Samantha Ratcliffe helps find lost dogs.
How fun is that?! What a great and creative idea to shine a light on a good doggy cause.
Thanks I will have to think about this for my blog. What a great event.
What a cool event and such a fun way to drive traffic and create awareness. I love interesting events like this. – Katy
This sounds like it is going to be such a fun event! It’s a terrific theme! I hope that they are able to raise a lot of money to help the animals 🙂
So many great ways to raise awareness and support such important causes for our furry friends! I don’t consider myself a pet blogger, but I do share quite often about Dexter, our 4 year old St Bernard. He’s a very important part of our family!
Great name – our dog is Dexter, too.
This is a great way to get your blog out there. Even better, it’s a great and creative way to help dogs.
The name is the best! Sounds like a great idea and way to get some promotion, but we aren’t about rescue at all. A couple times a year we might post about a pet we know who was adopted from a shelter, but that is it. I think the crowd would be looking for more rescue/shelter type blogs. We have our niche and try to stick with it, even though it isn’t the trendy rescue/shelter niche.
What an awesome cause and opportunity! I will check it out in more detail. Thanks for sharing.
That looks like so much fun. I love your pics.
Very cool program and I love the logo
Very cool! I would also so love to visit Vegas, especially for such a fun event. Plus, it would be even more fun to have an excuse to dress like you’re in the 80s again lol.
Sounds like it is going to be a great event! Thanks for sharing!
The charities they are raising money or seem to do great things! The Hairball sounds like a great event too!
This is such a brilliant idea! Especially getting the likes of bloggers and other donors across the country involved who can’t attend.

Great information.. Thank you for bringing awareness, I have not heard of this.
Such a fun idea and for a great cause!
A fabulous idea and wonderful option for those of us who can’t travel to Vegas.
I loved the 80’s!! That was my heyday as a single gal livin’ it up in New York! Sam is very cool, I’ve shared a lot of her stuff, including this event. I’m signing up to be a $25 sponsor – such a great idea for those of us who can’t attend in person.
What a great event , for a great cause !
What a cool event!!! I wish I could attend!
What a nice way to help people promote their sites, and help animals at the same time! Love the idea, thanks so much for sharing. Will definitely be checking it out.
What a fun way to raise money for dogs! This would be a fun event to take my daughter.
I love the support for puppies! We are going to a puppy walkathon tomorrow!
What a wonderful Idea. Yet if outside the USA how can one get involved?
Fantastic! This is a brilliant combination of a fun night, helping dogs, and promoting small businesses. what perfect event. I hope many funds are raised to help our furry friends.
Sounds like this would be a blast! We have a local event that is similar called ‘Rockin’ 4 Rescue’ which I’m hoping i’ll be able to attend. Having an infant to care for makes going out to all these fun sounding rescue events/parties much harder!
What a great event, thanks for sharing!
