Dogs Bring Hollywoof to Virginia for Unique Wigglebutt Affair
Fundraising is no easy task, but that isn’t stopping the Wigglebutt Warriors from bringing all the glitz, glam, and glitter of Hollywood to the aptly named, “Sterling,” Virginia.
On September 20, 2014, Olde Towne Pet Resort will play host to “Wigglebutts Go Hollywoof,” a creative gala to benefit OBG Cocker Rescue. This unique event is a pet-welcoming, Hollywood style evening complete with an awards show, swag bags, dancing, dinner, and surprises.“Guests will be treated to an evening of glamour and upscale fun, where the evening is centered on the entire “Hollywoof”
In 2013, Bryant hosted the Wigglebutt Wedding in Connecticut, a full-scale dog-friendly formal affair covered by media, resplendent with sponsors, and ripe with celebrities in the dog world. This year’s fundraiser promises to raise the “bark” high and deliver a memorable evening where guests can party with their non-human family members.
As a pet world insider, Bryant reports that more and more people are willing to support a cause if they can do so in the company of their dogs. “Dogs are the new kids, and I am not alone in this sentiment,” Bryant shares. “With over 70 million dogs in this country, we are a nation of canine lovers who embraces the notion of dogs as family members.”
Sponsors have stepped up to lend a hand and donate their time, services, and goods in support of Wigglebutts Go Hollywoof. Highlights of the evening include:
