Dog Halloween Photo Contest 2016 Edition

Broomsticks, ghosts, candy corn, falling leaves, scary music: It’s that time!!!! It’s the Sixth Annual Fidose of Reality Dog Halloween Photo Contest!

Entering is easy, prizes are fab, and all dogs are welcomed: past and present. Two entries per person are allowed: This means two pictures per person.

Deadline to submit entries is 10/27/16 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Email your photos to: fidoseofreality@gmailcom. Please provide your name, city and state and your dog’s name as well as what the dog is dressed as. Any entries without this information will not be eligible for entry. USA only, please.

Once you email the photo, allow 48 hours for us to respond with a confirmation email.

When does it start and end? The contest starts now. The contest ends on 10/27/16 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Fidose of Reality staff and their families are not eligible to win in the Halloween Dog Photo Contest.

What are we judged on? Fidose of Reality will pick TEN winners who exemplify Halloween to the max. No categories, just Halloween theme and dog(s) must be yours and dressed in Halloween gear without putting the dog in harm’s way. Don’t make your dog dress up if he doesn’t want to, please. Dogs who don’t like to dress up can wear a fun collar and leash or bandana and be entered. Or they can be pictured in a lovely Halloween scene.

This is always one of our biggest contests. We don’t ask for LIKES or votes and this is a good old-fashioned judges pick photo contest.

Can I alter the photo? No photoshopping please. Any photoshopped photos will be disqualified. We want originality! You can watermark but that’s it.

Can my friends and family play? Sure! The more the merrier. We love to see tails wagging here at Fidose of Reality, so spread the word and make your voice heard. Two entries per person, please. Additional entries beyond the first two will be disqualified.

What if I win? Winners will be notified and have 24 hours to respond. Winners will be revealed on Halloween, 10/31/16. Winners must provide name and mailing address so we can ship you the prizes. Winners who fail to respond within 24 hours of winning will be disqualified and runner up will be selected. USA only please and must be 18 or older to win.

Hint: Don’t submit photos you entered in previous years.

All winning images will appear across our social media channels and you provide us with permission to share all all entries on social media.
