Dog Pajamas

I am Carol and I absolutely adore dog pajamas. Anyone who has followed our social media accounts knows that our dog, Dexter, is often seen sporting a pair of what we call “man-jamas.” One of the brands that suits a stocky Cocker Spaniel is PetRageous. Dexter wears a size Large in the PetRageous Designs dog pajamas. Well lo and behold, their super soft doggy pajamas help to keep pet dander and hair off furniture and are functional after bath, in cooler months, for photo fun, and during times when the air conditioner is on and want your dog to have a layer of warmth. Check out some of the designs coming this fall and winter of 2017. Squee!

Hide Those Pills

Raise a paw if you dread giving your dog medication. I have designated my wife as the official pill dispenser to the dog in our household. I groom the dog but pill dispensing makes me nervous. We stopped for a demo of the coming-to-a-store-shelf-near-you product, Pillstashios. Both pills and dog mouths come in different sizes, and Pillstashios come in small and large. What caught our eye: Natural, gluten free, no cheap fillers. YAY! Here’s how it works:

Dog House Candles

During a media tour, we discovered One Fur All 100 percent soy candles for pet households. There are no dyes or petroleum by-products in them. We see a fair share of pet candles in our travels and we will not use anything that is not 100 percent soy. Our last apartment suffered the aftermath of years of burning paraffin (soot) candles. These candles contain an odor neutralizer and feature a variety of scents. Our favorite for a doggie household is the citrus blend. We are also swooning for the pumpkin spice car freshener. Yum! Always keep candles away from wagging tails and prying paws.

Black and Whites

Nomtastic snacks for dogs are here with a low-calorie, chia-filled punch. We are long-time fans and customers of the Einstein Pets dog treat line. Founder, Kelly Ison, calls the new Black and Whites treats “drool worthy,” and our dog, Dexter, concurs. Black and Whites are a low-calorie alternative to most doggie treats, great for training, sprinkling on top of food, and this dog blogger likes having them for a low-cal human treat, too! The only six ingredients in them are oat floar, carob powder, coconut, honey, vanilla, and Chia seed.  We also love the Einstein Pets Cha-Cha Coconut.

Speaking of treats…of course you’ll want to take some treats with you for trips and on car rides so….

Snack-Duo Time

We always have a collapsible water bowl in our vehicle, the “mommy bag” and with us on longer walks. The Dexas Snack-DuO delivers both cool water and a crunchy snack for your dog when you are both on the go. It’s the first reusable bottle with two side-by-side chambers. Flip open the lid to dispense treats or kibble, then pop open the cap top to pour a cool drink of water in the attached collapsible cup.

No Hide Digestible Chews

I am not a fan of rawhide and I do not feed it to my dog. Though not new to the market, we discovered Earth Animal No-Hide digestible chews at Global Pet Expo. There is no rawhide in this product and it is a chew that is rolled out, made with fresh organic eggs and olive oil. It takes our dog a good 10 minutes to work through this snack. Since it has no chemicals, additives, or anything like bleach or formaldehyde, this was a find we happily purchased on our trip home.

Clothes for Dogs Who Hate Clothes

If you want your dog to dress up, wear something formal or sporty, and have fun doing so, as we hear about often from dog parents, imagine our glee in discovering Tail Trends bandanas for dogs. These are seriously unlike any doggie bandana we’ve seen. They also make Hair Bows, Kerchiefs, Tutus, Ties, and Bow Ties. Look at these oh-so-wagworthy upscale bandanas with a fab price to boot.

Our personal fave is the squirrel!

Dog Agility, Training, and Posing Platform

At the Women in the Pet Industry 2015 awards, I was the recipient of the Advocate of the Year. One of my prizes was The Klimb for dogs. It has become such a valuable tool in our dog training, exercising indoors, and photo shoots. At Global Pet Expo, we watched a Border Collie show us the various ways The Klimb can be used to condition and strengthen a dog, too.  The coating is  PawGrip™, a soft-touch coating that improves comfort and footing. It comes in different colors, and we have the black. You can even stack them!

  1. Well, Carol, I thought I knew exactly how I was going to answer your question of which product was my fave. But, then I read on and thought so many of them were great choices. What’s a girl to do?! So, here’s the ones I liked the BEST. Pillstashios will be a must buy, and if my Sophie, the Mikey from Life cereal of our pack likes ’em, they will change our lives. I”m thinking about getting those Einstein treats…for me. Didn’t know it was ok to share like that; thanks! That combo water and food product is smart and the bandanas are just plain adorable. But…I have to get that keychain because, well, we all know it’s true!

Thank you, Carol, for a great Global round up!

    • I have so many more products, too – what’s a girl to do with so many amazing things and wanting to share them all? TY for stopping by and was good to see you again.

  2. I didn’t get to go, so thanks for the trending product update! Always love anything Einstein Pets, but those Tail Trends bandanas are the “dog’s bark”!

  3. These all look like great products. I will have to get some Dog Pajamas for my sisters dog.

  4. I love the dog outfits I am always seeing. There are some really cute ones. I love that there are trends in the animal whole like in human.

  5. Great products! I especially am interested in the pill hiders. My dog will eat AROUND the pill if she sees it mixed in her food, it’s crazy. The pajamas are cute as well!

  6. That key chain, love it! 🙂 Both of my dogs cannot stand having any kind of clothes on, no matter how aorable they look in them!

  7. You don’t always realize your home has started to smell of pets so having a yummy candle to help sounds like a great idea. However, the best idea is those pajamas. So cute!

  8. CONGRATULATIONS on winning the Pet Industry Advocate of the Year award! You so deserve it, Carol! I wish I could have been there but it wasn’t in the cards – too much going on at home & I couldn’t travel.. I love the pj’s. I’m always envious of Dexter’s collection of adorable jammies. I went to the web site from your link here, they have such cute designs. I must get some for Phoebe.

  9. Thank you so much, for posting all these great “finds” from the Global Pet Expo! By far, my favorite is the Pillstachio, that should be a great help with these sneaky little “cheekers” who cheek their medication instead of swallowing it, I usually find the pill by stepping on something cold and wet, ugh! The Jammies, are super adorable, too, I will be getting some of those, when I find them! I have been buying “Tail Trends” bandannas, for years, on Amazon, you can bet I will be adding some of these to Scout and Molly’s collection, I love their collar covers, they are well made and look awesome on Molly’s collar Thank you again, I almost feel like I got to go to the Expo, too!

  11. Such intriguing products. I have to buy the Pillstashios!!! I have a terrible time giving my dogs their meds. This looks so interesting. I’ve already purchased two of the bandanas and love them. Great finds, Carol.
